Hotel The Exchange is an independent design hotel that playfully weaves together fashion and architecture in unique rooms. As a guest you enter your very own wonderland & forget about everthing that is going on outside. Your getaway where rooms are dressed like models.
Together with restaurant Stock and the 230m² design departmentstore OPTIONS! the hotel forms a design destination in central Amsterdam. The concept is by Suzanne Oxenaar and Otto Nan, initiators of the Lloyd Hotel & Cultural Embassy in Amsterdam and the Llove Hotel in Tokyo. The hotel forms part of an urban rejuvenation initiative in Amsterdam. Suzanne and Otto commissioned students from the Amsterdam Fashion Institute to create the rooms. Through this lens the sidewalk becomes a catwalk. Lights and tables are no longer ornaments but body accessories.
