The Brain is a 14,280 cubic-foot cinematic laboratory designed by Olson Kundig Architects. Talking about an inspiring working spot!
Resident of this pretty amazing house is a filmmaker who was looking for a space where he could work through his ideas in a calm athmosphere.
It is essentially a cast-in-place concrete box, meant to be a strong yet neutral background allowing for the space to be completely flexible. A steel mezzanine was constructed inside the concrete wall on the north side of the box. All interior structures are made using raw, hot-rolled steel sheets.
